The Big Apple wasnt kind to the Windy City visitors. Gentry shut them out in game 1, 2-0. Then Ryan and Frisella combined for an identical 2-0 shutout in the second game. The third game looked to be in Cubs' hands as Jenkins held a 3-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but a two run homer by Ed Kranepool and then three runs in the 8th and the Mets have their sweep.--submitted by Tom Davis--
