Royals crush the White Sox

The Kansas City Royals thumped the visiting Chicago White Sox 12-4. Paul
Schaal went 3 for 4, 3 RBI's and hit his 2nd HR of the year, Jerry may
went 2 for 5 with 3 RBI's and Amos Otis went 2 for 5 with his 5th HR to
led the Royals.
For the Pale Hose, Bill Melton went 3 for 4 and hit his 8th HR for the
only real spark of offense for the Sox
Pitching wise, Bart Johnson (3-2) 2.76 ERA went 6 innings and gave up 4
runs but Joel Horlen really poured on the gas giving up 7 runs in 1
inning. Mike Hedlund (4-3) 2.76 ERA picked up the win for the Royals.
