The Giants get a sweep of a home series at last, taking two games from Montreal. San Fran rallied back in the opener to win 8-7 in 10 innings. Down 7-5 in the 9th the Jints rallied for 2 runs to tie the game and force extra frames. 3 consecutive walks by Expo starter Bill Stoneham led to a 2 run game tying double by Ken Henderson. Reliever Mike Marshall was able to get out of the inning, but could not contain the Giants in the 10th, when the declining Willie Mays singled home pinch hitter Fran Healy to win it. San Fran clobbered Les Expos in the finale 8-1 behind John Cumberland who tossed six shutout innings. --submitted by Michael Hopcroft--
