White Sox in a Tailspin

The Chicago White Sox were swept for the 2nd time in a row.... this time
by the Baltimore Orioles to extend their losing streak to 6 in a row.

Gm 1- Baltimore 6 Chicago 3
Loser Tom Bradley (10-13 3.21) pitched OK for 6 innings but Mike Cuellar
(17-8 2.84) proved to much for the suddenly anemic Sox attack.

Gm 2 - Baltimore 5 Chicago 0
Sox ace Wilber Wood (18-10 2.39) gets rocked for12 hits and 5 runs in 6
innings. Winner Pat Dobson (14-7 2.90) throws a one hit shutout gem for
the Orioles. He walked only 2 and stuck out 3.

Gm 3 - Baltimore 13 Chicago 4
With a tired bull pen, Joel Horlen (5-11 5.93) takes one for the team
going 2 innings and giving up 13 runs. A truly pathetic effort and he
has just about worked his way out of the rotation at this point! Jim
Palmer (18-8 2.49) goes the distance for the win.
