Gm3 - Sox take this one 8-4. Tom Bradley (8-9 2.87) gets the win and Mike Kekich (2-6 5.31) gets the loss. On Offense Mike Hershberger 3 for 5, Bill Melton 3 for 5 and Tom Egan 3 for 5 lead the attack. Carlos May pitched in with his 3rd HR of the year

Gm 4 - Chicago wins another this time 14 -13 in 10 innings. What a game!! 7 lead changes in this exciting contest between the 2 teams. Steve Kealey (3-2 3.35) gets the win and Joel Horlen picks up his 1st save of the year. Al Closter (0-1 4.91) takes the loss. Offense was lead by Ed Herrmann (.235) who went 3 for 6 with 6 RBI's and hitting 2 HR to give him 12 for the year.

Gm 5 - Sox get the sweep by winning 5-1. Tommy John (11-7 2.54) gets the win and Al Closter (0-2 9.64) gets another loss. Bill Melton goes 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's and hits his 27th HR of the year to lead the Pale Hose.
